Hey guys!!

Yes, its that time of the term again... Mugging time! For most of us, the exams are coming soon. (which explains why there's NO SALT next week! ): ): ): ) Just thought of sharing something from the sparked movement blog:

A Student Prayer

Lord, grant me a quiet heart,
Before the examinations start.
Lead me to use my leisure hours,
To reinvigorate my powers.

My mind from daydreams liberate,
Give me the will to concentrate.
From all distractions set me free,
That in my studies I may be.

A student with a sole intent,
To make my work a sacrament.
From my faint heart in love expel,
All failure, fears that there in dwell.

And from my pillow drive away,
All dark forebodings of the day.
Help me in faith to rest so deep,
That I may have untroubled sleep.

While notes and subjects I prepare,
May I not lose my zest for prayer.
And may I not forget to look,
For daily guidance in Thy Book.

In quietness, confidence and peace,
May I have quick and sure release.
From needless fears and apprehension,
From outward strain and tension.

So may examinations find,
Each one alert in heart and mind.
Thus inward joy and peace possessing,
May examinations prove a blessing.

Even as this time of last-minute chionging and mugging and anxiety comes, remember to keep trusting God. Do your best and let God do the rest! Don't worry too much and just surrender this set of exams to God, that this whole process will glorify Him! (:

I remember once, just before an exam, i was feeling really super anxious and nervous. Then like in the corner of our classroom, i saw my classmate praying. It was such a boom! moment, and her actions reminded me to rely on God, pray and not worry too much. Even our actions during this period can draw others closer to God!

So, continue to put your trust in Him, living out everyday for Him, for His glory and remember to study hard and take time to do QT! (: He promised that He will provide enough, for our needs, and our concept is sometimes different from His (was just reminded of that). But our Father will provide enough. He's right there beside you (:
