Today at church, uncle charlie shared this with us to reflect Psalm 19:1-2.

AHHHHH DONT YOU JUST WANT TO DIE THERE NOWWWWW??!!!! SO PRETTY GRLKENGIORENREIORGM. ahahah kidding dont die.
According to uncle charlie, the people there are not allowed to switch on their lights at night. i mean like they can but must like...cover. as in draw curtains etc. It's hard to imagine how cars drive about... but yeah. but no wonder its soooo pretty there. Those AWESOME sceneries there can only be seen on a clear dark night. You definitely cannot see those in Singapore because it's so bright and cloudy here that you can hardly see any stars.

OH. i went to look up. let me just add some quotes here. and... just take it as reliable (:
"Half the people of the world at present do not see the stars because of night light pollution."
"All Tekapo streets lights are Sodium and shielded from above to reduce the glow and all household lights must face down --- not up. " (no wonderrrrrrr)
"The reserve would give recognition and protection for the region’s dark unpolluted skies, unlike big cities which are lit up like beacons."
okay fine only 3 quotes and all from the same site.
I HEART NEW ZEALAND <3!

That is why sometimes when we read verses like this, we dont... really understand it. we probably only get like 5% of it. i mean God's creation is SOOO BEAUUUUTTIIFULLLLL but why is it so hard for us to understand and fully experience the meaning of this verse? It's because of the work of man. Like we chop down the trees. reclaim land, pollute the air and waters with our waste. The things we do destroy or mask God's amazing creations. He designed those sceneries so that we may enjoy them but because of our wants and own desires we deprive ourselves of them and limit ourselves in being able to experience the FULL BEAUTY of God's creation.
A random thought i had in church today which was quite saddening. promos start tmr! it's gp on monday and i havent started revising. definitely not my best ):
